Embrace Her antenatal classes provide women and their support people with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed for birth and early parenthood. Led by Amy — a Registered and Endorsed Midwife with 12 years of nursing experience, 8 years as a midwife and hospital teaching experience — these sessions blend evidence-based education with meaningful, hands-on learning. Unlike hospital classes, Embrace Her offers a more intimate and personalised environment with small groups and plenty of time for questions. You’ll learn practical skills often not possible in hospital settings, including comfort measures, positioning, active birth tools and partner support techniques. The focus is on helping you feel empowered in both hospital and home birth settings. The postpartum and newborn component includes real-life skills such as newborn bathing, safe newborn wearing and settling techniques. Breastfeeding, bottle feeding and breast pumps are also discussed where appropriate, helping you feel informed and supported in whichever feeding journey you choose. Perfect for first-time parents or anyone seeking a holistic, supportive and empowering antenatal education experience.
